floatation (and a short run before it)
It wasn't an one hour run like I promised yesterday. The day was full and fairly successful and there was less time than planned for a run. So I squeezed in a short run of 4.3 kilometers. Right before the floatation therapy session, the second in the last two weeks.
What is floatation therapy, you might ask. Take a look at this book by Michael Hutchison.
In short, you are safely floating in a tank filled with a couple of inches of water which is saturated by Epsom salt. Tank is light and sound proof. the result is no sensory input for an hour or whatever the duration of the session is.
Water is at body temperature and saturated enough that supports your body. You practically don't feel anything, you are free to explore your inner universe. It is liberating.

I have some time debt to make up in the next days. It will be hard since we'll be around the country helping people clean up the mess that the flood caused. Eventually, everything will be alright.
