My Actifit Report Card: November 23 2024

Not a 5K training session day but worthwhile enough to post!

On some weekends, I join a run club early Saturday morning to get some miles in. This week we met at a track in the city and since I did a training session yesterday my focus today was on sprint intervals.

I try to do some kind of high intensity interval training at least once a week. Most of the time it’s on a stationary bike to reduce impact on my joints, but I couldn’t resist running on a track today.

There is just something about the environment and the energy with everybody else around that motivates me.

Now I will take a couple of rest days (rest from running with a focus on lifting) and try to get my next 5K training session in before Thanksgiving.

I need to try some like that but still focusing on strength training for now before getting back to cardio. Good progress my friend!
