Slow run, bird torturing itself: December 23 2024

It's getting quite cold at night and still my bird Pio continues to torture himself taking his own feathers. I don't know any more what to do. I went to the vet, made him an obstruction, bought him a friend, toys, food,.... I know it'll pass like it did the previous times but I don't want him to suffer or even worse to get sick

I thought a veterinarian is supposed to at least do something to help the animal (by examining, treating, and/or prescribing treatment it) before asking for payment. 🤔🤯💸🤓 !WEIRD !INDEED !DIY

I don't think the time it will take for your bird to get its feathers back is not a priority if it continues to pluck its feathers. 🤔🤯🤓 !WEIRD !INDEED !HOPE !DIY

What I meant on my previous comment is that you shouldn't think that your bird's feathers would grow back (anytime soon) if your bird doesn't stop plucking out its feathers, not that you should instruct your bird to prioritize not plucking its feathers. 🤔🤯🤯🦜🪶😅 !HOPE !INDEED !WEIRD !DIY
