8,5 km Campos : January 30 2022
Time for a tryout for an upcoming 10km... I hoped to run it between 3'50" and 3'55"/km but already in the third km I couldn't follow any more the group which I had tried to lead for almost a kilometer... Looking afterwards in the stats the first 4-5 km were quite uphill (about 50m) but with all the training on the cross it's strange that especially there I failed. I caught up with the last kms downhill but that was not enough anymore and I stranded with 3'57"/km. Not so bad since I've been increasing again the quantity with over 45km this week from which the half of them at competition rhythm. It'll pay off later I hope. Maybe already next week in Sa Pobla, a first 10k test of I don't go for my next week with over 40km.

With those numbers I would not say you failed. Nice use of the Actifit post! I swear I see so many, and I am think to myself, is that really exercise? lol You defiantly deserve to treat your self to a great wine ASAP!

At this rhythm I would be good for 39'30" at a 10K... I'm aiming for 37'. That is really far far far away.... I think the max this spring will be 38'-38'30". It is what it is... To complicate it they organise the championship 10K at the track 1 day before the 10K race on the road that I wanted to run... Yeah... :-(

HA! Yeah that is true. Now a days I find beer does make me fell bloated, and sluggish. But wine is not so much better, but only the fact you usually drink less of it.
It's more the alcohol in general and especially when your body is still in motion, e.g after a strong training... I shouldn't drink any alcohol especially on those moments. But after a working day, a strong training and a hot shower, I just feel like drinking a beer or a wine with my dinner. I feel like I deserve it and can't resist most of the time...
Yeah when i drink it is best to do it in a frame where I will go to bed almost soon after. Drinking during day really bogs me down.
