RE: Illness jogging

Do you mean as an example that as today being February 20 (UTC), February 10 is already too late to increase intensity and endurance? 🤯 !WEIRD !DIY

I agree with what you said, where I would instead recommend light practice (whether the competition is physical or intellectual) within 7 days but not the day immediate to the competition. 🤓 !PIZZA !HOPE

At 10 days before the competition I'd recommend to keep on increasing intensity but not any more endurance !wine !HOPE !DIY

Summarizing our conversation about your training tips leads to the following estimates: 🤓 !WEIRD !INDEED

  • 14+ days before the competition = intensity and endurance training
  • 7 to 14 days before the competition = intensity but not endurance training
  • within 7 days before the competition = no intensity and endurance training

How about training just after the competition? 😏 !PIZZA !DIY

I tend to do a bit endurance training anyway still during 7 to 14 days befor the competition.
Just after competition comes slow training, distance depending on how the body has been compromised during the competition.... !wine !HOPE !HUG

Does the "the body has been compromised" refer to the person being sick before the competition? 🤯😅 !LOLZ !DIY

I wonder what you mean with "make the body suffer". 🤔🤯 Do you mean not caring for it (such as not resting adequately or eating well)? 🧘‍♂️😅 !INDEED !WEIRD !HOPE !DIY

I just mean what it says "make the body, the muscles, the joints,... suffer", i.e. exhaust them

I just got confused with the word "suffer", where using the words "exhaust" or "push to their limits" would be more understandable. 🤯🤯😅 !LOLZ !DIY

Where should you go in the room if you’re feeling cold?
The corner—they’re usually 90 degrees.
