longish Sunday run
Today's training session was called "marathon pace run". It is fitting to have one two weeks before the actual event.
Yet, the day was cloudy and pressing and I was not in the mood for any major achievements. So I went out late and started slow with the idea of shortening prescribed 22.5 kilometers substantially.
During the run I warmed up to the goal of a pace run and I actually did the second part at a 5:48 pace with the whole exercise being at 6:00 pace exactly.
Good, I loved the feeling. I still cut the run short. I will make it up tomorrow with a 10 K run. Mondays are supposed to be rest days and I will do exactly that - do the rest of today's session.
