7k Easy + 6 Strides
ervin-lemark just finished a 10.06km run, that lasted for 60 minutes.
This run helped ervin-lemark burn 666.0 calories.
Description from Strava:
First run of the training plan leading to Skopje marathon on October 6th. Ten weeks remaining to get somewhat in shape. I am not aiming for something special. A sub 6 minutes per K run would be more than enough.
Today's exercise was actually planned for yesterday. Yet, the day and the weather was not welcoming. So I switched runs and set the start for today.
The session was:
- 5 minutes warmup
- 5 K easy run
- 6x 20 seconds sprint with 1 minute jog
- 2 K easy run
- 5 minutes cooldown
In total that meant 10 kilometers, great. Average pace was 5:59 which is great too.
Tomorrow, the same exercise. Then, on Sunday, 13 K slow run. So the journey begins.
I intentionally went out at 15:30 with temperature being around 29 degrees. Almost all of the run was on asphalt. Early October is still hot in Skopje, probably :)
