Morning Run: Maintain your distance

I have been running a little less this week. At the weekend we were working hard in the garden to clear an area that will be landscaped soon. I have a few muscle aches that I do not want to aggravate, so will take it easy.
I have got the Wii Fit out and have been trying some workouts on that. Some of the yoga is challenging as you need good balance. Need to work on the core muscles. I was playing some of the games last night and I was struggling.
This morning the weather was lovely and Arlesey is fairly quiet due to the road being closed for new humps. I did the usual loop around Fairfield at an easy pace. I saw a few runners out there and some walkers who I often see up there.
I wonder if the COVID sign will ever be taken down. The pandemic seems so long ago, but it was such a strange time for all of us. I was lucky not to lose anyone close to me. It has changed working practices and we may never go back to 5 days in the office each week.
The run was not too bad, but I could feel the sore muscles in my left leg. It is not really painful, but it is annoying as I cannot do all I want to.
My band are playing at Goatfest on Sunday, so I need to practice the set. I have no idea how big an audience we will get as we have not really built a following yet. Next month I am off to Split for Hivefest to meet up with those cool social blockchain folk. I will try to do some running there.

I was talking about that with someone today. My Nephew that was born at the beginning of the lockdowns is now 4 years old haha. We're still dealing with the effects of it though, like the shit economy for a start.
The effects will last a while. We may get another strain that gets serious.
