Memphis Depay has become an undisputed player in the Netherlands national team in recent years as he scored a hat-trick agaist Turkey as Netherlands record a 6-1 win against 10-man Turkey at the Amsterdam Arena to go on top of the Group G World Cup qualifying table with 13points.

It was the first international hat trick for the 27-year-old Dutch striker as they record an emphatic victory for the second time in four days to reach 13 points from six games and take overthrow Turkey at the head of the Group G.

Guus Til scored the fifth goals for the Dutch 10 minutes from normal time and Donyell Malen added a sixth in stoppage time before a late pconsolation goal for Cengiz Under.

Turkey slipped from top to third in the group G as they stayed on 11 points with Norway moving second level on point with Netherlands and goal difference is what separate both side, after smashing Gibraltar 5-1.

The Netherlands continue from where they left after an emphatic 4-0 win over Montenegro on Saturday.

It was a great win for the Dutch and for veteran coach Louis van Gaal at the start of his third spell as coach. And they are on their way to automatic qualifications.
It was really a bad day and bad game from the Turkey side.
