My Actifit Report Card: May 16 2024
Back to my Actifit recap after not getting much done on the road as I was busy with tons of yard work. At least we were able to enjoy a nice hike over at Lynx Lake in between gathering dirt for my lawn and putting up some new fencing.
We enjoyed the company of a couple of neighbors during our morning walk and it was nice to chat while we circled the large field a few times.
I grabbed several 5 gallon buckets of rich dirt from near Lynx Creek to spread around in my little garden bed and then it was time to try a hike at the lake.
The lake had a nice mid week crowd and there were a few dogs to make Lulu happy.
Despite the sun and late morning start, the conditions were perfect higher on the hills and a nice breeze off of the lake helped cool us down.
We made a stop at the Southside area so that Lulu could have a few treats and a big drink before continuing onto the return trail.
From there it was a good swift walk back to the trailhead and just about 3 miles total and then it was back home for a few hours digging post holes and putting up a few sections of fencing.
A tiring day but I was able to get some much needed yard work done.
