My Actifit Report Card: March 5 2023
I hope that everyone had a productive and enjoyable weekend.
It was nice to finally have a rental car so that we could get out and enjoy the weekend away from home.
Yesterday was a family trip to Crystal Hill near Quartzsite where I mostly hiked around the hills putting in a few miles while enjoying the warm sun and pretty scenery.
Today Lulu and I had fun by ourselves down in Stanton checking out the prospecting spots after all the snow last week.
The moisture has really greened up the hills but it was too day to dig much so we hiked around to see all of the old digging spots and relax in the quiet countryside with no other folks around.
I covered a good 3 miles over the couple of hours we were there but since our rental wasn't an SUV I had to keep to the flatter spots due to the lower car body but I'll soon have better times once it dries out AND we have a decent 4x4 drive.
I closed out the day with a chilly 4 mile loop around my neighborhood as the wind and cold came in. Fortunately winter seems to be leaving and the milder days ahead will be a welcome relief after our long Winter.
Tomorrow we're off to the Big City (Phoenix) to look at cars and just enjoy a different drive. Not sure what I'll do for my walk.
