AWESOME Token APR On Different Time Frames - And Update On Our Token Burn Policy

So there is 2 updates today, first about APR for our token on different time frames, and then an update to our policy for burning and issueing tokens.

Now to start with the AWESOME token APR that we have used has always been the APR from when we launced the token, which we have always stated, however from the perspective of someone who might want to buy our token they might also want to know what the APR is if they buy it today.

Therefore we have now added this info when we do our daily snapshot to adjust the price to token value.

• APR Start All = The APR counted from our launch at our starting price of 1 Hive.
• APR Now All = The APR counted with the current price, and using the whole history from our launch.
• APR Now Week = The APR counted with the current price, and using the history of the last week.
• Backing Hive = The combination of the Hive Power on @thisisawesome and the Hive in our buy orders on @awesomecuration.

This paints a much clearer picture of what any potential investor can expect in future growth depending on when they buy the token, and not just what the original investors get from the time of our initial airdrop.

Updated Policy For Burning and Issueing Tokens

In this post we made a policy for when we issue and burn tokens, This Is Awesome - $AWESOME Improvement Proposal, and here is that policy.

• To issue new tokens then our total Voting Power has to exceed 10 times the number of tokens issued, that would represent about 110% APR or above.
• We will start burning tokens that we buy back if our total Voting Power is lower than 5 times the amount of tokens issued, that would represent about 55% APR or below.

Now it is quite obvious that there is a problem with this policy as it counts Voting Power in relation to tokens issued, what we need is to count the Hive value of all tokens issued instead, which gives this.

• To issue new tokens then our total Voting Power has to exceed 10 times the value in Hive of all issued tokens, that would represent about 110% APR or above.
• We will start burning tokens that we buy back if our total Voting Power is lower than 5 times the value in Hive of all issued tokens, that would represent about 55% APR or below.

So that is the update, and it will ensure that we keep the APR up also for new investors regardless of how much the value of our token has increased.

A positive value in Burn or Issue represents the amount of AWESOME tokens to either burn or issue according to our updated policy, and as you can see we have some tokens to burn, which we have also done.

After burning Total Tokens issued, both what is in circulation and what is in our sell orders on @awesomecuration, is now 982.145.
