I have the impression that there are indeed appearing more bots (while the existing ones don't seem to get repaired, like !WEED) and that there are less people finding their way to Hive. I !HOPE the time that this is going to change is not far away any more because as soon as the BTC is going to drop, Hive is going to drop to an unacceptable level. I mean that it isn't going to be worth (almost) anyone's time any more for the poor benefits that there are to reap. !wine

I think that when the price of HIVE significantly drops further, then there would still be some people who would remain on the platform because of its other features such as practically free publishing of posts (that costs only a bit of Resource Credits) and censorship-resistance. 🤔🧘‍♂️🤓 !LOLZ !DIY

"Free publishing of posts"???.... It would be !WEIRD if ew had to pay for it... Ok, maybe for publicity, but I don't think a lot of people would choose Hive as a publicity channel. Not enough exposure... !wine

There is another blogging platform named #Arweave where users are required to pay AR tokens to publish articles, media, and any file in general on their "blockchain" (technically not a blockchain, but a blockweave where a node does not need to host the entire blockchain though with reduced earnings for hosting depending on percentage of the blockchain not stored). 🤓 There are also no "author rewards" and "curator rewards" for publishing there. 😅 !WEIRD !INDEED !DIY

Yes, so it might not be a way for content creators to earn tokens from publishing content. 🤔💸 !LOLZ

However, that platform offers several features not on Hive, such as direct hosting of non-text data (such as images, videos, and other types of files), and removal of content that isn't desired by every node on that network (meaning content that isn't supposed to be on the Internet will gradually become inaccessible on that platform over time as more nodes decide not to host it). 🤓😏 !DIY
