Morning Run: Sore foot
@steevc just finished a 7.06km run, that lasted for 42 minutes.

Last night was our jam session at the pub that happens every two weeks. It was another good turnout, but not as crowded as last time. I played a load of tunes, mostly from memory. These sessions are about the only time I play guitar as I concentrate on drums at home now. I only had one beer, but that tends to mean a trip to the bathroom in the night. I stumbled over something in the dark and scraped my foot on something. I went back to bed, but it was sore for a while. When I looked in the morning it was worse than I thought, but nothing critical and I could still run. Gory picture below if you can bear it.
It was a lovely morning. It has been sunny all week, but this time it had not got below freezing overnight. I fed the chicken before heading off for my regular loop.
The pace was good again today, but I am bound to slow down when climbing the hill to Fairfield. It was quiet again with the main wildlife being pigeons grazing on the grass. Somehow the birds find food through the winter. We have some extra feeders in our garden now that get a few visitors. Mealworms are the popular option there.
I got quicker in the second half, but then that is more downhill. I had podcasts to keep me going that included science, music and Linux. I have so many shows I would like to listen to, but time is limited. It is a similar issue with books where I have a big backlog. I need to post about some recent reads on Hive soon. I do log them on the open Bookwyrm platform as I gave up on Amazon's Goodreads.
Our solar panels are very productive at the moment with us exporting more power than we import, so we will earn from that.
