steevc just finished a 6.23km run, that lasted for 37 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 440.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
Another lunchtime run from work. I have done this run a fair few times and it is challenging as there is quite a climb to the park with the lakes. I thought I did fairly well up that and then it is mostly downhill on the way back.

It has not turned cold yet, so I got pretty warm again. I need to set the shower to cool to get back to something like normal. My overall pace was not too bad at under 6min/km. Looking back on Strava I used to do this route a fair bit quicker, but I have been improving lately.

Last night we had a power cut at home for about half an hour. That is very unusual, but it covered a large area of a few towns. We just had to light up some candles and had podcasts to listen to. Unfortunately our solar battery cannot operate when the mains is out for safety reasons.

It is Bonfire Night (aka Guy Fawkes), so there have been lots of fireworks. I saw some as I walked home from the station as it was well dark by then. Meanwhile the US is going to the polls and I hope it goes peacefully. Politics need to be more boring.

Run free and stay well.

Here in Italy it has started to get cold. The other day I went for a 10 minute jog. A short jog, but now I have a cough and a cold. It seems that I am not used to running

Great going man :) cool to see where you are running. I'm from Swindon, so not too far really (well, quite far in UK standards but right next door with mine!) :)

Not sure I've been to Swindon. I just try to get out a few times a week. Have to make the best of the decent weather as I am not keen on running in the rain.
