Morning Run: Not parkrun
steevc just finished a 6.43km run, that lasted for 39 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 449.0 calories.
Description from Strava:
I got some exercise yesterday when I cycled to Stotfold to get a haircut. Unfortunately they could not fit me in, so I came back to Arlesey and went to the newish Turkish barber. There was no queue there and he did a decent job. We nearly had two Turkish barbers in the village, but one is changing to a cafe that has still not opened.
The Henlow parkrun was called off again as the course is still waterlogged. I could go to another, but I decided to just do a run from home. I went to Stotfold again, but not via the new road this time. Yesterday the cycle track was packed with schoolkids, but it was quiet today. I stopped at the outdoor gym for a few exercises. I really should do more strength work.
It was raining a little as I started, but that did not last. It has turned cooler now. I did not do any real sprints today, but I pushed a little harder on the last part to try and get the average pace up a little.
I may well run again tomorrow. I am not doing the sort of weekly distance I would hope for and need to fit in more runs.
