steevc just finished a 5.94km run, that lasted for 38 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 447.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
It was another fun night of making music in the pub last night. There was a noisy crowd in the other bar, but we played on regardless. Then we went next door for a drink and a chat so I got home late again. I stayed off the coffee this time to get a better night's sleep.

The cat came to see me this morning and pat my arm to make sure I was getting up. She was not too early with that.

It was not too warm out and I headed up the road for some hill intervals. I really need to get back to doing these regularly. The first sprint was really good and reassures me that I can run a bit quicker. The rest were a little slower, but I can build on that. A while back I was getting them all under 5min/km, but I have lost some pace lately. I did some walking between the sprints to recover a little.

Someone has dumped a bicycle near our house. I saw a notice on FB about it and added my photo. I hope the owner can get it back.

I saw a little of the Olympics yesterday and GB did well to get another couple of golds. The triathlon guy had a great finish and the lady rowers just beat the Netherlands.

There may be some storms later today, but I am not going anywhere.

Stay safe and run free.

Chain looks a little rusty, but otherwise quite a nice bike. I agree, I hope the owner gets it back.

I noticed the rust. It's still there now. There are people who would just take a bike and abandon it.

Over here it would have been stripped down to just the frame...

You see that here too where just the frame is locked to something. It can depend on whether the parts are worth anything.

We found an abandoned bike down the end of our road not so long ago but it had gone the following day. Someone must’ve claimed it.

It’s rumbling out there at the moment, has been for around an hour but no actual storm or rain just yet. Feels like it’s going to break very very soon.

A few clouds here, but all quiet.

People are always finding bikes around here and posting them up on FB. You have to hope that some get back to the owners. I didn't check if this one was marked with a postcode or similar.

I wonder if people even bother to mark their bikes now and this has reminded me that ours are marked with our old postcode! I remember the police were doing free markings at one point when the town had a police station lol! That’s an ironic lol.

Do the interval times correlate to your current parkrun time

Well I was going a little quicker than I can sustain for 5km. A couple of years back I could do them all under 5min/km, but I struggle with that now. My parkrun times are the wrong side of 27 minutes :) I'm hoping to get used to a quicker pace and work on sustaining it.
