Once I was traveling from Kharkiv to Poltava by train. And there was an accident on a gas drilling rig very close to the railway line. The torch of fire shot out for 150-200 meters.

That must have been scary. I think this fire was away from any homes, so I hope nobody was hurt.
Fortunately, there were no buildings there. And the torch of fire burned parallel to the railway tracks. The well itself was at a distance of 300 meters from our train, but even through the glass I could feel the heat from this fire. A burning roar was also heard, as if from a jet plane. The burning lasted for at least 24 hours. Because I saw this torch in the morning. And then I saw it for the second time at night. The fire lit up the night as if it were day.
