Looser in the classroom, heavier in the head – just get me to the conference!

After an intense weekend, it was finally time to catch my breath. As usual, I headed out in the morning to get fresh bread for the kids, but this time I treated myself too – a puff pastry roll with mushrooms. During these “womanly” days, I like to give myself a bit of slack. If I feel like eating something less healthy, I allow it – within reason and without guilt. Work at preschool was calm today – five fewer kids made the atmosphere more relaxed, quieter, and less chaotic. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t kind – the rain kept me mostly indoors except for picking up Wiktor and running to the store. Still, somehow I managed to hit 12,000 steps – don’t ask how, I’m amazed myself!

At home, I squeezed in a short workout: step exercises, some TRX, a few minutes with weights. Nothing major, but still something – always good for body and mind. Tomorrow’s going to be a marathon – work from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, so I doubt I’ll manage much exercise. Maybe I’ll find a moment in the evening for a quick home routine. I also need to pack for the trip to Kraków for the “Closer to Preschool” conference – I’m so excited! Great company, interesting workshops, and a break from the everyday grind.

Unfortunately, tomorrow morning I have to work with a colleague I really don’t get along with – she just returned from medical leave and has already stirred up the first bit of drama. Thankfully, I only have to survive until noon with her, and then I won’t see the grump again until next week – unless we cross paths in the hallway. I can handle it – the thought of the trip is enough to keep me going!

Po intensywnym weekendzie nadszedł czas na złapanie oddechu. Rano standardowa wyprawa po pieczywo dla dzieci, ale tym razem skusiłam się też na coś dla siebie – bułkę z ciasta francuskiego z pieczarkami. W te kobiece dni pozwalam sobie na małe odstępstwa od diety – w granicach rozsądku, ale bez wyrzutów sumienia. W przedszkolu dzień minął spokojnie – pięciorga dzieci mniej, to i atmosfera luźniejsza, ciszej, mniej zamieszania. Pogoda dziś nie rozpieszczała, deszcz skutecznie ograniczył czas na świeżym powietrzu, ale mimo wszystko udało mi się nabić 12 tysięcy kroków – nie pytajcie jak, sama się dziwię!

W domu szybki trening: step, trochę TRX-ów, chwila z obciążeniem. Krótko, ale skutecznie – zawsze coś dla zdrowia i lepszego samopoczucia. Jutro czeka mnie maraton – od 8 do 17:30 w pracy, więc raczej nie poszaleję z treningiem. Może uda się wieczorem coś wcisnąć – chociaż szybki domowy zestaw. Muszę też się spakować na wyjazd do Krakowa na konferencję Bliżej Przedszkola – już się nie mogę doczekać! Fajna ekipa, ciekawe warsztaty, oddech od codzienności.

Niestety jutrzejszy poranek to też praca z koleżanką, za którą nie przepadam – wróciła dziś po zwolnieniu i już zdążyła wszcząć pierwsze dramy. Na szczęście tylko do 12 muszę z nią wytrzymać, potem do końca tygodnia mam spokój. Dam radę – motywacja na wyjazd robi swoje!
