Good Day, A Good Mindset
Yesterday, I focused on rest—time with the kids, some much-needed regeneration, and… I went to bed so early that it’s almost embarrassing to admit. But today, well-rested and full of energy, I was ready to tackle the day head-on!
The morning started off dynamically—5:20 AM wake-up, preparing school lunches, quick organization, and waking up the kids. Everyone had to be dropped off where they needed to be, and before I knew it, it was 8:00 AM, and I was already at work. A quick coffee, classes with my preschoolers, some outdoor time, and the workday flew by in the blink of an eye.
In the afternoon, I prioritized activity. I walked home, making a quick stop for some small groceries along the way. After a light snack, I laced up my sneakers and headed to the gym. A solid 30 minutes on the treadmill—10% incline, 5 km/h pace—followed by strength training. I came home tired but satisfied—this kind of movement always feels great.
The evening was just as pleasant. A shower, a nice dinner with my husband, an episode of Bosch, and the satisfaction of a well-spent day. As I go to sleep, I feel that today was filled with small victories.
Because sometimes, that’s what it’s all about—appreciating the everyday moments, noticing the little things, and enjoying them. I hope you, too, can celebrate your small wins. What did your good day look like?
Dobry dzień, dobre nastawienie
Wczoraj postawiłam na odpoczynek – dzieciaki, regeneracja i… poszłam spać tak wcześnie, że aż wstyd się przyznać. Ale dziś, wyspana i pełna energii, miałam siłę, by działać na pełnych obrotach!
Poranek rozpoczął się dynamicznie – 5:20 pobudka, przygotowanie śniadań do szkoły, szybka organizacja i obudzenie dzieciaków. Każdego trzeba było rozwieźć tam, gdzie powinien być, więc zanim się obejrzałam, już była 8:00, a ja stawiałam się w pracy. Tam szybka kawka, zajęcia z moimi przedszkolakami, czas na świeżym powietrzu i dzień w pracy zleciał jak mgnienie oka.
Po południu postawiłam na aktywność. Wróciłam pieszo do domu, zahaczając po drodze o drobne zakupy. Po szybkim podwieczorku założyłam sportowe buty i ruszyłam na siłownię. Tam solidne 30 minut na bieżni – nachylenie 10%, tempo 5 km/h, a potem trening siłowy. Wróciłam do domu zmęczona, ale zadowolona – taka dawka ruchu zawsze dobrze robi.
Wieczór był równie przyjemny. Prysznic, wspólna kolacja z mężem, odcinek serialu „Bosch” i poczucie dobrze wykorzystanego dnia. Kładę się spać z myślą, że był to dzień pełen małych sukcesów.
Bo czasem właśnie o to chodzi – docenić codzienność, zauważyć małe rzeczy i cieszyć się nimi. Mam nadzieję, że i Wy umiecie celebrować swoje małe zwycięstwa. Jak wyglądał Wasz dobry dzień?
