MAcFiT Olympics: Day 4 - Tennis

Good day,

The update on Day 4 comes in two parts. I've decided to single out the Tennis tournament, as it is at an important stage. The updates from the other 4 events will be released in my next post.

Tennis

Singles were played on Friday and Saturday. Only one match has been decided, which means that 3 Doubles games will decide the winner. Doubles will be played tomorrow, ie. Tuesday, July 30.

Doubles matches

In Doubles the scores of both players from a team add up. In case of a draw, the tie breaker is the sum of all scores, Singles + Doubles.

Semifinals

The brackets are:
(Team 1 or Team 8) vs Team 5
(Team 2 or Team 7) vs (Team 3 or Team 6)

The schedule will follow the pattern of the Quarterfinals, ie. Singles on Friday (August 2) and Saturday (August 3). Doubles, if needed, will be played on Tuesday (August 6).

Captains of the teams can re-assign the order of play.
