En 1981 el grupo Santana lanzó Zebop!, que ocupó el noveno puesto en el Billboard 200 gracias al single «Winning», que llegó a ser número 2 en las listas de éxitos de rock y 17 en el Billboard Hot 200. More recently Carlos has been involved in the fight against the AIDS epidemic in South Africa. With a career spanning more than four decades, Carlos Santana is more vibrant and creative than ever, bringing both the virtuosity of the old school and the freshness of the new. His fusion of blues, jazz, soul, rock, Latin and world music is unique, and has crossed genres and cultures to become the author of the world’s soundtrack.
