My Actifit Report Card: May 27 2024

So. I found out why my pumpkins/squash weren't doing as well as the ones in my raised bed. It's the sunlight! The ones in the back are in mostly shade and I heard that they really need that sun. Since its still May, I think it'll be fine for me to start more seeds and plant them in a sunnier spot, see how well they do. I'm leaving the ones in the back alone though, I want to compare them once it's all over. I'd also rather not waste any plants. If there's a chance they'll give me a fruit or two, I'm keeping them. Also, I've decided to put some bags under the squash so the contact with the ground doesn't rot them. I think cardboard is better, but I don't have any unused boxes.
