My Actifit Report Card: May 21 2024

So our garden has been a mess for a long time. The main point is that the predecessor didn't look after it at all, so it's a massive job that we've only put effort into every now and then.

There're patches in the garden where nothing grows like this.


The soil we have here is very compacted and full of clay

To try and solve this I'm tilling the soil and then adding organic matter in the form of food scraps.

Today I fed the garden some left over pasta a banana peel and coffee grounds


I've been running a compost bin for a while but it's full of forest bees right now and I don't want to disturb them before they find their new home.

Also managed to end up with a lot of garden waste just from the tiny front garden and part of the area where I removed my old rotten decking..

The plan is to let this die 100% and then bury it in the parts of the garden then need the same treatment as above.
