Friday afternoon 5 K run & entry to Slo 12 H run done
Weekend is here, finally. The working week wasn't a strain at all yet some weekend fun will be more that welcome. It will be sunny and warm with temperatures just over freezing, great.
Today's run was a continuation one, meaning "just go out and run for two miles". It ended up being 5 K, into the Magpie's valley on the tarmac road halfway in. Then back on forest path over autumn leaves and roots. Excellent. Also, I somehow managed to miss the sun but still returned before the dark. It's a refreshing change from running late at night throughout the week.
Cover image? It's taken from the website of Slovenian 12 hours run which will take place on June 1st 2025. Entered for it! It will be my fourth or fifth participation at this great roundabout. Will you join me?
better and better

There should be links in the post which is originally a description field in Strava event. But these are being stripped when saved. I asked their support what’s the culprit…
Yep I've noticed the same issue when I do my posts, I add img url's, and the links disappear when I post on strava
(I end up having to wait for the post to be picked up by Strava2hive, and then edit the post in peakd to add the links back in... not too complicated to do, just a little frustrating!)
Agreed, after always running after work in the dark, its nice to run in daylight at the weekend!
Links edited and corrected after post was published on Hive. Still waiting on Strava support to respond.
