RE: My Actifit Report Card: January 28 2025

I would take it that it is powered by diesel? I don't see any crossing gates keeping the cars separated from the trains. Do people get hit by them much?

Our son used to work for the railroad, and there were many horror stories of cars, people and animals that were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Thanks for sharing my friend!

The trains are electric, there are no barriers but you can see flashing lights and hear sound signals at each crossing announcing the coming of a train. People don't get hit, it's mostly cars and often enough :)) the train goes really slow through the town so I don't remember any fatalities in years.

That is a good thing! Here, the trains move fairly quickly and are often so long and so heavy, it can take up to a mile to actually stop.
