So, if Max were a cat, my first thought would be that someone sprinkled catnip there. Since he's not a cat, then would beg the question, do they make 'dognip'? If they do, then someone sprinkled it there in the dirt, lol!
He is a funny boy! Does most of the dirt come off easily or is a roll in it a guarantee of a bath later?

The dirt could have come off easily, but just 5 minutes prior Max was belly deep in the water, so imagine the combo, wet Max + dirt = guaranteed shower needed. :))
