Description from Strava: Don't let that blue sky fool you, it may have been a beautifully bright and sunny morning, but it was rather chilly out there. At just 6C (and feeling like 4C) it was a very cold start this morning.

A little shock to the system considering how warm and humid it has been recently. Last week featured temps from 18C to 25C, so having 6C today was unexpected! Its part of a very brief and unseasonable cold spell, and so hopefully return to more expected temperatures by Sunday.

It did result in the unusual combination of sunglasses 😎 sun hat 🧢 and gloves! 🧤

I missed yesterday's session due to feeling a little tired after a busy day, but was able to make up for it today. Im helping my partner pack for uni after i finish work today, so have resorted to running early this morning to fit it in. And to be fair, it might have been a chilly start, but after 10 minutes or so i has begun to warm up.

I only had an hour spare to run before i started wirk at 9.00, so for ease i resorted to the standard out and back route along the bypass. It was a nice easy effort, and was a pleasant run in the sunshine (after i had warmed up of course!)

Now its time to crack on with work i guess... i hope the day goes quickly, we've got loads to do to get ready for the drive to her uni on Sunday!

About the Athlete: Living in the UK, I am an intermittent Runner, but always striving for more consistency. When I'm not training I can be found photographing insects or listening to really loud angry music (which is the best type of music obviously!)
