It's always interesting how we get used to certain bars and their associated locations for hands, body weight, and even saddle adjustment. Is it possible to get the old one welded?

It's also interesting how tiny adjustments make a huge difference, especially on saddle height or fore/aft position. Biggest difference I felt is to ride against the wind though, that aero position is so great.
I'll see if the cost is worth it, since the cornerbar is about 50 bucks on aliexpress.
Doing ok right now. Ready for winter to end and spring to make it with warmer weather. Insee what you mean it might be just as affordable to replace it
Yup. They also have a carbon fiber version of the cornerbar. The original one made by Surly is cromoly (I think), but it's double the price.
