Heute meinen ersten Arbeitstag gehabt und ja, wie es zu erwarten war, Berg an E-Mails gehabt, ein guter dreistelliger Bereich. Hat ein bisschen gedauert, bis ich die abgearbeitet hatte. Allerdings heute einen super coolen Tag gehabt, auch wenn ich heute wieder wesentlich länger dageblieben bin, als geplant gewesen ist. Die meisten Schritte stammen heute wieder von meinem Weg zur Arbeit und auf der Arbeit. Sporttechnisch habe ich heute so gesehen nichts gemacht, bis auf meine normalen Schritte, aber die kann man nicht an Sport zählen.

Today was my first day back at work, and as expected, there was a mountain of emails waiting for me—a solid three-digit number. It took a while to get through them. But overall, I had a really cool day, even though I stayed much longer than planned. Most of my steps today came from my commute and moving around at work. As for exercise, I didn’t do much besides my usual steps, which don’t really count as a workout.

Wie sieht es mit den Kalorien aus?

Essenstechnisch gab es heute auf der Arbeit Hähnchen-Medaillons mit Reis. Ich esse gefühlt wirklich nur Hähnchen, wenn ich jetzt so drüber nachdenke. Weil es bei der Arbeit heute halt wesentlich länger gedauert hat, also ich war weit nach 19 Uhr erst zu Hause, habe ich mir auf dem Rückweg wieder den 5-Euro-Döner geholt. Das Angebot wurde verlängert. Muss man zuschlagen, ich habe keinen Bock mehr zu kochen, ich bin ehrlich. Dementsprechend kalorientechnisch heute eigentlich ein super Tag.

What about the calories?

Food-wise, I had chicken medallions with rice at work today. It feels like I only ever eat chicken when I think about it. Since I ended up staying late at work—didn’t get home until well after 7 PM—I grabbed the 5-euro döner on the way back. The offer has been extended, so you’ve got to take advantage! Honestly, I don’t feel like cooking anymore. So calorie-wise, it was actually a pretty good day.
