splinterlands best practice: how-to build your personal repository & always remember your best decks. Use this evernote template!
Servus, Splinterlands community!
I get straight to the point without fluff.
That’s how my usual big screen layout looks like while I play in top tier:

My process explained.
- Before a battle: within the 2:30min time frame where I assemble my badass team I quickly navigate to current ruleset. In this example to Earthquake – Lost Legendaries. Rule sets are sorted alphabetically whereas I always start with the rule set first in alphabet regardless of given order of the two rule sets. E.g. it doesn’t matter if Earthquake – Lost Legendaries or Lost Legendaries – Earthquake is shown, I always look for Earthquake first Lost Legendaries second.
- Before a battle: as soon as I found the corresponding area of current rule set & mana cap I look around if I already have noted a successful card combo before. If there is none I check other decks in that area. E.g. mana cap 27 to 31 in this example. I would use most cards of other mana caps and change just one or two cards to match current mana cap 29
- After a battle: I take a screenshot of the winning card combo (if I like it) and insert it into the corresponding evernote table cell to remember it in next battles. In this case I saved my precious life card combo with the new silvershield assassin in mana cap 29 life table cell.
The approach is to accelerate my process of getting an idea on what card combo to play to increase time to fine tune my current card combo.
Keep it fresh!

Nice to see your process. I can't wait until there are dozens of applications out there who automate this process. A new HUB for Splinterlands or an entire alternative UI.
