Zimbabwe Cricket Team is International cricket banned

The International Cricket Council membership of the Zimbabwe National Team has been canceled.
It is due to the conduct of the game in contravention of the ICC constitution.

Zimbabwe has decided to cancel its membership at the ICC General Assembly yesterday.

The main reason for this is the failure of the sports authorities of Zimbabwe to confirm that there is no government intervention in the Zimbabwean cricket administration.

With this decision, the Zimbabwe team has decided to suspend all funding provided by the ICC.

Accordingly, Zimbabwe will miss the World Twenty20 World Cup qualifiers in October this year.
