A Remarkable and An Unfortunate Career of Alexis Sanchez

Alexis Sanchez, a Chilean superstar has always been a favorite on clubs he has signed - except for Manchester United. His services were not appreciated there due to numerous factors. One reason was his injuries, there were many times the forward missed Reds games and those games were really important for the club to fight for a Champions League spot.

I remember his time with FC Barcelona. I was a kid that time and knew nothing much about football, how big it is. I saw him paired with Messi, David Villa, Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets under Pep Guardiola in what could be considered as the golden age of Barca. He's been a phenomenal player there and the fans loved him. When he daparted, there were no hate just pure good luck for his career.

He went to Arsenal and has one of the players that revived the club. He was a phenomenal star there, replacing the likes of Robin Van Persie, Henry, and Arshavin - those were players I still remember scoring great goals for the Emirates. He was a hero there. He was consistent, fast, agile, and passionate. Even though Arsenal didn't win any Premier League title when he was there, they've made good contention for the title always.

His services for the national team was also remarkable. He was considered their greatest forward that time. In fact, they managed to beat Argentina to win Copa America. The Chileans love this man and you can see it in his eyes that he is doing his best to bring joy and pride for his country.

The shocking revelation came. Manchester United acquired Sanchez on January 2018. This news shocked Arsenal fans and a familiar feeling. Remember when United robbed Van Persie? - that was exactly the same. The time when Arsenal had a strong chemistry with Ramsay, Giroud, etc. That was perfect timing. Also maybe Arsenal can't resist the big offer from United that's why they were forced to sell him. Nothing to worry now though because Arsenal squad is promising today.

Now, he is being transferred on loan to Inter Milan under Antonio Conte. Along with Lukaku, which was bought for around 73 million from Manchester United. His future is uncertain there but one thing is for sure - he will be having a good playing time. Conte is a great manager that will surely utilize his services for the squad.

I'm really hoping to see a revival of his career. Though his legs may not be the same as before, the mindset and IQ will still always be there. Score goals for us there, Alexis!
