It has not exactly been a dance on roses for James Rodriguez, who only managed to net six times last and first season at Merseyside club Everton. Likewise, rumors have been swirling around that the Colombian national team player has not been particularly happy in his English presence.

This has led to a number of speculations regarding James' future plans, and although his contract does not expire until next year, rumors of a transfer change have begun to swirl in the English media.

As recently as this morning, Sports Witness reported that FC Porto interest has appeared in the Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha. The newspaper learns that FC Porto would like to close a deal with their former star player as soon as possible, and at the same time James Rodriguez should be open to a switch back to the Portuguese and Porto.

James Rodriguez only managed to play 23 Premier League games for Everton last season due to injuries.

James Rodriguez is a brilliant player, I think Everton won't allow him to go because despite playing only 23matches for Everton, he has helped improve the team to certain standard an Everton has now become a treat to big clubs in premier League, I think they won't let him go

i dont know why so many team have not really seen the beauty of this player, he has been a fantastic player that knows how to utilize the little chance he has.

Although one might say he has not really scored like the way we expected him to score but i want to believe if he is really given much time. the player may end up winning

This is just the best thing for the Colombia international, who as been having a hard time when on and off the field of play due to his performance,to me going to Porto will be a very good idea for him.

The former World cup highest goal scorer is having hard time since his rose to fame , having had a spell with Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and now Everton,he.as not been getting it right when it comes to performance on the field of play and he need to do alot to conceive the new Everton coach Rafael benitez that he can do more .

But having a bid from Porto right now is a very good idea for a man that need to rebuild his career again, hopefully if the deal go through.,it will be an avenue for him to come back to the expectation and performance people expected to see from him after doing brilliantly in the last World cup

Injuries seems to have reduced the performance of this talented attacker. He hasn't done badly though. A move to the Portuguese club Porto isn't a bad one but I feel he should seek to getting more fitness and time at Everton.

I doubt the English club would let him go considering his impact in the team play. Except a more tempting offer is brought forward before is
see them letting the Colombian international to go.

Been 30 year old the attacking midfielder or winger still has a lot to offer at the biggest stage in football. Despite failing to leave up to expectations. I believe he still has the talent to make a name for himself.
