As a Lions fan I was not happy to see the Eagles march down the field on their opening drive.

Luckily, the Lions were able to stop the Eagles in the redzone and they would have to settle for a field goal.

Lions respond with a 100 yard kick return Touchdown, the first by a Lions returner since 2015, by Jamal Agnew to put the score at 7-3 Lions.

Since we have such crazy time zone differences on the other side of the planet, i end up missing a lot of this. That was epic and I love how quiet the crowd was. Philadelphia fans have a reputation of being the "worst" in the country so while I know it is a little bit mean, I kind of revel in their disappointment.

I'm not sure exactly why, probably because I lived in Michigan for a bit and know a few peeps from Detroit, but I have a soft spot for that club because they have been in a drought for so long. Each year I hope they can pick it back up and return to glory. Unfortunately, this year, I don't think their defense is good enough for glory this year.

I predict an 8-8 season (maybe 9-7) with hopes of playoffs that ultimately ends in disappointment.

I would be happy with an 8-8 record but I sure do hope they make the playoffs. I think they have been getting lucky up to this point but sometimes that's what you need.
