September 24, 19: Walking, and Teaching Calculus

Took the dog out for a pretty relaxing walk...actually, that’s a bit of a fib, he annoyed the hell out of me dead-stopping to sniff every random outcropping of grass. Still, I got over it...sort of.

I didn’t do any zombies today...still well below where the weather would be. The wife went to the doctor today and got antibiotics and two days off work (officially bronchitis)...I got to go to work and a bunch of nonsense from the doctor that I am considered a “new patient” and so they could not “accommodate me.” Even though he’s been my doctor my entire life...GD insurance bullshit!

Even so, was gorgeous out! Very certainly can’t complain about a day like this...

Went down to the nature trail. Wide open skies.

The pond was still there. More or less pondifying as all ponds should.

Something about trails like this that I find absolutely magical...kinda’ like nature said “All this is clearly mine, but I shall let you pass.”

In the afternoon I went for a walk up to the local grocery store and back to get some coffefve that we forgot this weekend.

In the evening I taught Calculus; we covered the definition of e as a limit and the derivatives of ln(x) and e^x. Super fun!
