Arsenal makes Patrick Vieira top target to replace Emery.
Many dramas have been happening at Arsenal in the past few weeks, ever since they sacked Arsene Wenger successor, Unai Emery. Emery started well in Arsenal but things began to change along the way. Ever since he was sacked many coaches has been showing interest to fill the vacuum in Arsenal. Arsenal board decided to keep calm and Freddie was given the chance to prove himself. With what happened in his first two matches, it doesn't seem Arsenal is in a safe hand.
In the search for a better and long-time replacement, a report came that Patrick Vieira has been contacted for the Job. Vieira was a Legend in Arsenal under the management of Arsene Wenger and he won the Premier League thrice, 2 FC cup, and won the forth in the last days of his playing career in Manchester City. He retired from playing, and he took coach as another profession. He is currently the manager of the Ligue 1 side, Nice, and he has been showing some prolific performance there. Vieira current deal at Nice will see him through 2021, but he may choose a turn to Arsenal. However, he said he is happy with his current team, and he may not be taking a quick decision.
It’s a very difficult job and I realise that. It’s always sad to see a coach lose his job,’ the ex-Arsenal captain said following Nice’s victory over Angers on Saturday.
Today it’s his turn and tomorrow maybe it will be me. When you throw yourselves into this job, you have to expect to be sacked one day.
