Throughout in my life, I never seen a player better than Lionel Messi - so he's my pick. I've considered every aspect of football - Handle, Dribble, Accuracy, Passing, Team Play, etc. and most especially - Humility

Despite the greatness he possess, his humbleness prevailed - making him one of the most loved player in football not just because of his talent but also because of his personality. Every teammate of Messi can attest to that.

What have this man done to make me fall in love with him?

- He scored lots of goals and CREATE goal opportunities to teammates.

Imagine a goal scoring machine at the same time very creative in creating goal opportunities to teammates.

- He can score goals - INDIVIDUALLY

Lots of times where Messi scored goals by himself. Some of it are done against Archrivals Real Madrid. His amazing touch, presence of mind, and strike placement is superb.

- - He'll make you crazy with his dribbles.

That for sure is a great testament of Messi. I can't imagine how he dribbles, always in perfect position at the perfect time. Not always thought, but "most of the time". This make him create opportunity for himself and for his teammates.

- A good teammate.

Related to number 1 and I want to emphasize this. He creates opportunities to his teammates and a reason why Suarez has been phenomenal with his goals scored. In fact, there were plenty of times he give the penalties to players who are struggling to score. I remembered the time when Ibrahimovic is having a hard time in scoring. What he did, he gave a penalty shot (which he was mandated to take) to Ibrahimovic - ending his goal drought. There were plenty of times that happened.

- 5. An incredible Free kick taker.

I don't need to say this, honestly. This is because we've seen many times and many of his goals coming from free kicks. It maybe inside or outside the box, it doesn't matter. Remember the goal against Liverpool (UEFA Semi-final)? That was superb!

- 6. He's a good Friend.

For every player he play with, he was surely loved. Ronaldinho, Ibrahimovic, Suarez, Neymar, Pique, Puyol, Eto'o, Xavi, Iniesta, and many more. He has made a great relationship with his teammates. He's a good friend.

I guess that's all I can describe that little genius. He was the reason why I fell in love with football.
