Top Transfers this summer

source
A lot has been going on lately. Players are being transferred from one team to another, and just like every season, this summer transfers is also looking good. Only few big signings have been made. It's obvious teams don't want to lose their best players. Every team is holding on to theirs and the ones that sold theirs tried to get a replacement. Well, a team is like a barrack; Soldiers go and come.
Note: It's possible I missed some players. This list was compiled based on how expensive the players are. I stand to be corrected if there are some players missing. Also, I'm not going to list all, just the top ten transfers according to how expensive they are.
Joao Felix (From Benfica to Atletico Madrid)
€126 million
The Portuguese can play as a top striker and as a winger. Perhaps that's why his price tag was high. Atletico Madrid had to bid for him when they saw the possibility of Griezmann leaving. Felix is still very young. In fact, he played only a season in Benfica's senior team before leaving. The nineteen years old performed brilliantly in just that season.
Antoine Griezmann (from Atletico Madrid to Barcelona)
€120 million
Greizmann has played all his club career matches in Spain. He started from Real Sociedad, then to Atletico Madrid and finally landed in his dream team, according to him, Barcelona. He will be another great addition to the almost perfect Barcelona team and possibly give them what they actually need.
Eden Hazard (from Chelsea to Real Madrid)
€100 million
The Spanish clubs are actually spending the most money this time around. Hazard had only few months left in his Chelsea's contract, so they had to sell him before it expires. Otherwise, he will be leaving for free. Real Madrid got him this summer with the hope of being their Ronaldo that left. Would Hazard ignite the spirit of Real Madrid players? It's only a matter of time to find out. By the way, he is a great player and a big addition to the team.
Lucas Hernandez (from Atletico Madrid to Bayern Munich)
€80 million
This is another player that left Atletico Madrid for another team. Lucas is a record signing for Bayern Munich and the world of football, as far as defenders' transfers is concerned. A whooping €80 million was spent in bringing the French man to Bayern Munich. Another good addition to the team.
Frenkie de Jong (from Ajax to Barcelona)
€75 million
De Jong's transfer had been finalised even before the end of last season, but it became official on the first of June, this year. We can't tell how the coach will handle all these players, but he sure got the quality players he needs. De Jong was among Ajax underrated team last season and he performed brilliantly. Hopefully, he will bring that great form to Barcelona.
Rodri Hernandez (from Atletico Madrid to Manchester City)
€70 million
Once again, Guardiola strengthens his midfield by bringing in another good midfielder from Atletico Madrid. Rodri has always been in a good form in the Spanish league, so his price was definitely worth it considering the fact that the market prices are now extremely high. This is probably the most expensive signing in England this summer currently.
Luka Jovic (from Frankfurt to Real Madrid)
€60 million
Jovic is a striker, a good one at that. Real Madrid is gradually restructing the team and fixing everywhere fixable. Jovic would be another great addition and would complement Hazard. If there's another team and player to watch out for next season, Real Madrid and Jovic should be among. The Serbian was bought from Frankfurt.
Tanguy Ndombele (from Lyon to Tottenham)
€60 million
He fits into Pochetino's pattern a lot, so bringing him in at this price was inevitable. Tottenham broke their transfer record to bring him into the team. Let's hope it's worth it. Ndombele did great last season and he is currently aged 22. He has a lot of time to improve and be a great addition to the team.
Eder Miltao (from Porto to Real Madrid)
€50 million
FC Porto made a lot from this guy's transfer, I must confess. They got him from Sao Paulo at €7 million. After playing one season with them, Real Madrid got interested in him and offered times 7 the amount Porto got him. Miltao can play as a right back and as a right back. It's obvious Real Madrid are trying to fix their back line and front line.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka (from Crystal Palace to Manchester United)
€49.5 million
Manchester United were expected to spend a lot this season since the team is rumored to have a lot of bad players. They haven't brought in much so far. Wan Bissaka, a right back from Crystal Palace is currently their highest transfer fee this summer. Well, the transfer market is still open. Let's wait and see what the rest of the days brings.
Is there any player that should make this top ten list and isn't there? Let me know in the comment section below. Another fresh list might be posted by me when the transfer market ends. We never can tell, some players can be bought at a very high price at the dial minute. Time will tell.
