Rock 'n' Colors

When I saw these colors for the first time, I thought someone had painted the rock face. Especially one picture looks as if someone has poured a few buckets of paint over the rock face.

Als ich diese Farben zum ersten Mal gesehen habe, dachte ich, dass jemand die Felswand bemalt hätte. Speziell das eine Bild schaut doch so aus, als ob jemand ein paar Kübel Farbe über die Felswand geschüttet hätte.

I've been to this waterfall in the Soča Valley so many times, it's only a few minutes' walk from the road, but I've never thought of taking pictures of this quite interesting looking rock face.

So oft bin ich schon bei diesem Wasserfall im Soča Tal gewesen, er ist ja auch nur wenige Minuten Fußmarsch von der Straße entfernt, aber ich habe bisher noch nie daran gedacht gehabt, diese interessanten Felsen zu fotografieren.

There is not much color on this rock, but I liked the little plant in front of the cave entrance because it almost looks like a little troll wants to green its front yard so that his home looks a bit more inviting for guests.

Nicht viel Farbe ist auf diesem Felsen, aber mir hat die kleine Pflanze vor dem Höhleneingang gut gefallen, weil es fast so ausschaut, als ob ein kleiner Troll seinen Vorgarten begrünen wollte, damit sein Zuhause ein bisschen einladender ausschaut.

This rock wall is located opposite the viewing platform above the waterfall. As if a lot of green, blue and black paint had run down the rock face.

Diese Felswand befindet sich genau gegenüber der Aussichtsplattform oberhalb des Wasserfalles. Als ob eine Menge grüne, blaue und schwarze Farbe die Wand heruntergeronnen wäre.

Of course, a waterfall should not be missing. This little one is opposite the rocks and just below is the 8 meter high Mlinarica waterfall.

Natürlich darf auch ein Wasserfall nicht fehlen. Dieser kleine ist gegenüber der Felsen und gleich unterhalb befindet sich der 8 Meter hohe Mlinarica Wasserfall.

Well, it's a kind of membership system that allows users with little voting power to vote on posts and comments. You have to be a member and you have to be on a list to be able to vote.
I had thought, they had an English page too, but it seems to be in German only.
I would say it is somehow like SBI, but I tell the bot to vote, so I curate manually.

That's basically it - I have got some invest votes lately and thought it might be a good idea to use this tool in addition or instead of these tokens... ;)

I see... it's a bit like being curator for @tipu...
But it aren't very large votes I think, so what's the point voting on comments?
I discovered that when you vote on comments, you only get tokens when the comment is 1 level deep... after that, it's just as with steem, nothing...

That's quite right - but you can vote whenever you want and you can let it vote on comments and it does not cost you anything, although I have delegated some Steem to the bots to make the votes a bit higher.
Otherwise I do not vote on comments myself, because it's worthless and I do need my voting power for good posts such as yours ;)
To reward the people who comment on my posts I use all these tokens, but not so extensive anymore, and now I also have the !invest_vote - I haven't had a look how high that vote is though.

This little plant really looks out of place,but that's nature, always finds theway to grow.

Yes, I agree, I have seen this rock face quite some times, but never thought of making a photo. But yesterday I did and I am glad, because I do like these colors myself ;)
This little plant is the only one I have seen in this area on the rock, and if no Troll has planted it it must have climbed up there to watch the tourists on the viewing platform ;)

Two years ago it snowed on the 30th of April about 20 centimeters I think. That's about 8 inch and it has caused chaos on the streets, but a few days all the snow was melted already.

Thats about what we got one year, we had a lot of snow before that as well and althought he grassy areas cleared of snow in a week or sow the big piles where snow had been plowed lasted till early june

Maybe, but I think it is some kind of a mossy and mushroom thing, but I don't know. Maybe next time I'll take my macrolens with me, if I don't forget ;)

wenn ich eine Ahnung von Steinen hätte, dann wüsste ich, was das für welche sind und weshalb sie so gefärbt sind. Ein Teil werden natürlich Moose oder Pilze sein, aber die orange-braune Farbe ... keine Ahnung, ist aber auch egal, denke ich ;)

Guten Morgen und nachdem das alles natürlich ist, muss ich es nicht unbedingt wissen - wenn ich nicht vergesse, nehme ich nächstes Mal das Makro mit für eine bessere Analyse ;)

Oberhalb der Felswand ist ein Wald, der zum Teil bis an die Felsen herabreicht. Ich denke, dass Regenwasser herunterrinnt und die Erde und Grünzeug oder Moos dann mit hinunter gewaschen werden und das dann die Färbung ergibt ... Kunst aus der Hand von Mutter Natur :)

Anscheinend wird der Bot immer mehr genutzt und die Höhe der Votes ist ohnehin abhängig von der Wortzahl, glaube ich.

Ich gebe mich mal mit dieser Erklärung zufrieden und vielleicht vergesse ich nächstes Mal wirklich nicht auf das Makro.

Du siehst das richtig und das mache ich bereits - ich habe daher auch kein Problem mit dem !BEER verteilen, weil ich auch an den beerlover oder auch an tipu ( das ist unter anderem der !tip ) delegiere.

ich wollte aus den Savings einen Steem ausgezahlt bekommen. Es hieß 3 tage, aber bisher ist der noch nicht da. Nun sind schon 5 Tage vergangen. Wo ist der Steem abgeblieben?

Bei Tipu musst du zum kuratieren eingeladen werden - zumindest war es am Anfang so. Ich habe nach einer Weile damit aufgehört und bin jetzt nicht mehr freigeschaltet. Das war mir zu anstrengend, immer zu schauen, wo auf der Liste ich bin und ob sich der Vote auszahlt.

Einen Steem? Da kann ich dir leider nicht helfen, weil ich keine Savings habe - der ganze Gewinn wird wieder investiert in Token bzw geht die Hälfte gleich in Steem Power über.
Ich habe eigentlich leider noch nie wirklich geschaut, wie ich mein Geld vielleicht mal zurückbekommen sollte ;)

Ja den Steem wollte ich eigentlich für tipu haben :)

Da ich ja dank Deiner Hilfe ja nun über 500 Steempower stehe kann ich ganz anders agieren.

Das sollte ich wirklich mal machen, glaube ich ;)

Jetzt habe komplett die Zeit übersehen. Nebenbei habe ich ein bisschen Wassertropenfotografie gemacht, weil ich ja nicht immer rauskann ;)
Dabei habe ich komplett darauf vergessen, dass ich vielleicht auch etwas für mein heutiges Posting machen sollte. Nun kann ich schauen, dass ich ein paar Fotos finde und was dazuschreiben ...

Stimmt, und jetzt ist es schon wieder fast Schlafenszeit.
Aber du musst nur auf etwas warten, dann vergeht die Zeit nicht, und wenn du auf die Uhr schaust, wird der Zeiger immer langsamer ;)

Ja meinste ich? Seit mehr als 10 Jahren nicht mehr.
Hab noch eine Dugena Tauchuhr in irgendeiner Schublade rum liegen die nicht mehr geht.

Was neues kommt mir nimmer ins Haus.

Brauch ich Zeit, schau ich Handy oder PC.

Ich habe so zwischen 30 und 40 Uhren zu Hause - es gab mal eine Zeit, da habe ich zwei Swatch Uhren getragen - eine links und eine rechts - und die Swatch habe ich auch gesammelt. Sind aber alle ohne Batterien ;)

Nein, ich hatte damals einfach Spaß daran, zwei Uhren zu tragen - ich sagte immer, das hat etwas mit dem Gleichgewicht zu tun, wenn mich jemand gefragt hat.
Ich habe mal eine Sam Francis Swatch gesehen und die war der Grund für mich, dass ich die Uhren dann eine Weile gesammelt habe, und jetzt warten sie so wie der Steem darauf, dass sie mehr wert werden ;) lol

I think these are kinds of moss and algae, or the (dark) color comes from the forest above - the rain washes earth and dirt over the rock face.

No no! I wouldn't shoot them. lol..but it is a rule here in Texas that you never go down a private driveway unannounced because people here are very protective of their privacy and some would at least shoot over your head for a warning!

I would not do that of course because while I'd have a gun handy or on me if I didn't know who it was, I sure wouldn't shoot it, not even to scare someone unless they looked dangerous. Certainly not kids. I might give them some advice about trespassing though!

But is the weather good enough for photography? Oh yeah, I won't be doing anything heavy like heavy lifting or swinging an axe for awhile, I lost 2 weeks of work from that dang injury.

I got lots of other trees to trim and little ones to cut down before I go back to the big one.

As long as the rain is not too heavy it's no problem, apart from the fact that I don't like to get wet in the rain ;)
But stormy weather, especially dark storm clouds are more beautiful than a blue sky.

I have been at a little lake, a very little lake in the afternoon, but there have been too many people and I didn't like the harsh light in the afternoon anyway. I think I'll go there some day very early in the morning.

Yes, my camera is water or weather resistant, so it can resist some rain. I have been in snowfall and in the rain with it and didn't notice any problems, but you never know ;)
