This waterfall has probably never been photographed.

Dieser Wasserfall wurde wahrscheinlich noch nie fotografiert.

On one of my last trips to Slovenia, I found this waterfall hidden deep in a beech forest.

Auf einem meiner letzten Trips nach Slowenien habe ich diesen Wasserfall tief in einem Buchenwald versteckt gefunden.

Of course, now that autumn is over, the area does not look really nice, but when I come back in the spring, everything will be green and fresh again.

Jetzt, nachdem der Herbst eigentlich vorbei ist, schaut die Gegend natürlich nicht mehr wirklich schön aus, aber wenn ich im Frühjahr wieder hierher komme, dann wird alles wieder grün und frisch sein.

Also, this waterfall, which is actually no real waterfall, I found in this area. In fact, I photographed almost vertically down: the water flows left to right down and the "waterfall" drops through a hole in the vertical stone slab that divides the stream.

Auch diesen Wasserfall, der eigentlich gar kein richtiger Wasserfall ist, habe ich in dieser Gegend gefunden. Tatsächlich habe ich vertikal hinunter fotografiert: Das Wasser fließt von links nach rechts und der "Wasserfall" fällt durch ein Loch in der senkrechten Steinplatte, die den Bach teilt, durch.

Of course, I'm not sure if this waterfall has been photographed before, but I've never met anyone in this area before.

Ich weiß natürlich nicht sicher, ob dieser Wasserfall schon einmal fotografiert worden ist, aber mir ist in dieser Gegend noch nie jemand begegnet.

All photos were shot with the Canon EOS R and one of these lenses: Canon RF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM, Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 L IS II USM, Canon EF 16-35mm 1:4L IS USM, SIGMA 105mm 1:2,8 DG MACRO HSM, SIGMA 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM C

You are right, I want to visit this place again in Spring and take some proper photos. These have been kind of testphotos only 😉
Maybe then I'll tell where that place is, but I don't think so, because there's no path and I think, some places are not meant for tourists, although that pool would be wonderful in Summer to swim and cool the !BEER 😉

Yes, it's mine ... and the farmers which live nearby ;)
When I'm there next time in Spring I will explore the area further up. There's no path or so, what's really cool, because no tourists can disturb the silence 😉

There's a farm near this brook and they get their water from it (there are long pipes and a small pool and reservoir further below the brook), but I haven't seen any hiking paths or other signs that other people apart from the farmers have ever been there.
The waterfall itself is not that spectacular, but there's a deep pool in front with green water and I think I'll explore the area further up next time, which may be in Spring, when everything is green again :)

I have just come home from a nice long walk in the snow. Well, it was slightly snowing and the ground was white, not much, but it was at least white and it felt good under my boots :) They say over night we might get up to 7 or 8 inch snow, but I don't think so.

glad you got out for a nice walk, I havent been for a good walk for a few days and it is driving me nuts perhaps !DERANGED, but this will pass and I will get some steps in soon, even if indoors and warm for the moment LOL

We didn't get the promised amount of snow, but about 5 inch. I had a nice drive on the snowy road around the lake this morning and after that I have been on a walk in the snow, where I took a few photos, but for a Winter Wonderland there was too less snow in my opinion ;)

Morning or good midday my friend sorry you didn't get as much snow as you hoped for even if not enough !DERANGEd snow for a Winter Wonderland I am sure it is still quite beautiful

Rainy and cool here today which I dont mind so much since i am sticking to being sensible and staying indoors, the antibiotics are knocking me a bit but hopefully also the infection :)

I have heard, that if you use it the right way it can be a good medication, but that's about all I know about it. I wouldn't mind if weed was legal, if most people wouldn't change sooner or later from it to !DERANGED harder drugs.

Well, my friend, a few months ago I would have said "a Kiwi", but I have learned that a Kiwi is either a New Zealander or a bird, which cannot fly just as the "Kiwi fruit" cannot fly ... and the New Zealander neither 😉

But you have a forest in the near, if I remember right, maybe there is a brook and a waterfall too. You said, the trees are all owned by someone, but maybe you can walk through that forest and find nice places :)

Incredibly beautiful waterfall. @johannpiber 🤗 It's just that you don't believe that water finds its way out and creates beauty. I believe that you were surprised when you came across and delighted to find something new. I like to walk the jovial roads and I'm not afraid to get lost ... because you always come across a new beauty ... and that's when I'm happy.🤗😊

I have known that brook for a while, but I have never hiked so far up, because I thought that there won't be much to see - how wrong I was ;) there's always something new to explore, and next time I will go even further up.

I like to walk away from the usual paths if possible, and whenever I can I go straight through the woods... one day I might meet a wolf or a bear and hope they are not hungry, because I don't like to share my food 😉

Yes, new paths of new beauty .... so in life.🤗 You never know what awaits you ....@johannpiber hahaha ... it won't be safe ... wild animals scare us ... but still look you have some tree handy for climbing ... 😉🤭in the woods I only saw deer, little ones .. .But I always see if there are any trees suitable for climbing, especially in winter ...🤭

Yes, deer and rabbits and some birds are all I meet when I am in the woods, but the interesting animals like bears and wolfs are always hiding from me, although I don't look that dangerous ;)
I wonder, if a tree would be a safe place if a bear is hungry ;) lol

That might be right, because I let my almost white beard grow and now I look somehow like a mix between Santa Claus and Bruce Willis, because my hair is only about 1mm long - until 2 months ago I have had very long hair and my face was shaved ;) lol

Slovenia is beautiful like the best places in Austria but smaller and everything is closer together - there are not so many tourists yet, because it is not so well known, but this will change in the next years.
Slovenia has also a coast line at the Mediterranean Sea, what makes it even better than Austria ;)
