2019 NBA Media Day | LeBron James talks about Teaming up with AD and more!

What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion for another episode of NBA Talk, and today we will talk about the 2019 NBA Media Day featuring LeBron James! Let's start!

It's year 17 for the kid from Akron and he's ready to take the Los Angeles Lakers to the next level this upcoming season. Yes, LeBron James is having a great offseason and in this interview, he talks about life, family, "Taco Tuesday" and of course basketball. Lol.

LeBron James is the fourth all-time in the scoring list in NBA history behind Kobe Bryant, Karl Malone, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and he is happy to be on that list and he is humbled because, for a man who does not prioritize scoring or a player who can care less about scoring, he was able to be on that list. He is a type of player who wants to make his teammates involve and can make them better. But when he was in a position where his teams need him to score, he responds.

LeBron said that it's a good thing for him that the Lakers weren't able to make the playoffs last season. It helps him rest his body and spend more time with his family. It was well deserved for him because since he was 20 years old, he hasn't missed the playoffs and over the past decade, he was always in the Finals meaning there is less time to have a rest or spend time with the family so he treated that failure last season as a blessing and a lesson. And because of that, he was able to reset everything and start all over again feeling more motivated to win it all this season.

He also talks about teaming up with superstar big man Anthony Davis. He said that AD is a very vocal player and a very great leader that everyone doesn't know. He explained how he and Anthony Davis can be great on the court together. Bron said that he and AD have mutual respect off the court and will easily complement each other. They are two guys that really care about their teammates get better. They are a team player and that would really help the Lakers achieve their goal this upcoming season.
