Welcome to my life!
Hello,
I've already written a couple of Blogs but haven't really introduced myself. As a start, I identify myself as first and foremost a follower of Christ. However, soon after, that I am a husband and a father. My family is what drives me to do what I do on a daily basis which is serve in the United States Army. It's already been five years and so if I am able to keep my promise to my wife, I have 5 years left. With two children it is pretty hard to keep my right from my left, not to mention that work itself is such a time suck. However, I found that great Joy and Peace comes from my family. Without them, I probably wouldn't be able to keep up the work that I do.
My one hobby that I can still do is photography. The reason being that I can take my son out on a weekend, which gives my wife a huge break from my hurricane of a son. He is my inspiration and although it is hard to take great photo's of him, he does once in a blue moon give me some pieces of gold and it makes the whole chase worth while...
I just recently started blogging, but my issue is that writing is my weakest link. My work consists of me being able to be eloquent and organized in speaking; however, when it comes to writing....I FAIL. I wouldn't be surprised if people read these blogs of mine and think, "why the hell is this guy writing". However, I have also come to realize you don't have to be good at what you like doing. IF blogging allows me to get my thoughts down, even if it's disorganized, and allows me a chance to unwind, the hell with the fact that I can't write to save my life. Well enough of my rambling, all this was just to say that I may suck at writing but I know I enjoy creating content in dedication to watching my family grow. I hope you can enjoy a piece of that too!
Our engagement photo. Can't believe it has already been 6 years! I was in my third year of law school so we couldn't afford a photographer. I decided to take it myself and we were able to get some good shots.
Me and Liam on a motorcycle. Sadly, with the addition of my second child I had to sacrifice the motorcycle my 750 Honda Shadow.. Yes... tears were shed. The worse part I ended up buying a minivan; even worse, and now I can't live without a minivan.
My child who stole my motorcycle away from me. Just kidding. I introduce you to Sophia Belle. A beautiful name for a beautiful girl. And Yes, Belle is from Beauty and the Beast.
Last but not least, my two favorite girls Belle and Jennifer!! Jennifer has been great to me for six years and I couldn't do that things I do without her!!
Thank you for all the support and see you next time!

Hi and welcome here! When I started on steemit, my biggest problem was to find interesting people to interact with. So, to help newcomers getting started I created a directory with other interesting and or talented steemians to follow or interact with. Feel free to check it out at https://www.steemiandir.com I am sure it will help you find like-minded people. Enjoy your stay here and do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!

Hi @justicerho
Welcome to the community. :0)
As you probably know by now, SteemIt has set some very unfair rules for newcomers, which limit you in the number of posts and comments that you can make.
I checked your wallet, and noticed you had 15 Steem Power. The amount of Steem Power you have, determines how many Resource credits you have. (You use resource credits every time you post, comment or like something.) When you don't have a lot of Steem Power, you run out of Resource credits quite quickly, and then you can't post or comment, or even upvote a post - but I assume you already found out about that - until they have recharged.
You can keep an eye on your Resource Credits here:
http://steemd.com/@justicerho
At the top, you'll see this:
The blue bar is your Voting power - it decreases every time you upvote a post and recharges over time. It is recommended to keep your Voting Power above 80%, so it will recharge in 1 day.
The green bar shows your Resource Credits. With every transaction you make (vote, comment, post), your Resource Credits will decrease. They will recharge, but that takes time.
If you scroll down a bit, you can see exactly what you can do with the Resource Credits you have left. You haven't been really active these last couple of hours, so you still have quite a lot of your RC. Enough to make 15 comments. After that, you'll have to wait until it recharges before you can make another comment.
I don't think it is fair to limit new users like that. After all, you're new, and there is such a whole lot to discover, of which the most important thing is the awesome community we have here. But to become a part of that community, to get to know people, you should be able to comment on other people's posts and engage with people.
So I'm always on the lookout for promising newcomers that could use a little help. So I delegated some of my Steem Power to you, to give you a chance to start your SteemIt adventure a little more freely - without having to run out of Resource Credits all the time.
Basically that means you will have a little more Steem Power, and as a result more Resource credits. This will allow you to be more active on the platform.
(You can find out more about Steem Power HERE)
If you check your Steemd page (https://steemd.com/@justicerho) now, you'll notice it says at the top you have 50 SP instead of only 15 SP, which means you can comment, reply, upvote and post a little more often.
Be sure to still keep an eye on that Resource Credits bar - it will still decrease, but you'll be able to do more before it reaches zero and you're locked out.
I hope this will help you to find your way on SteemIt, and to get to know all the awesome people that are hanging out here.
SteemIt has quite a steep learning curve in the beginning, but if you take it one step at a time, you'll be okay. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. you can leave a comment on one of my posts, or just tag me in any post or comment you make (@simplymike), and I will be notified and will try to help you out.
IMPORTANT: I will leave the delegation in place as long as you're active on SteemIt (i.e. publish original content regularly and engage with other people by commenting on their posts and replying to their comments) or gather enough Steem Power to get around on your own.
There's one other requirement: I'm looking for people who are showing that they plan to be on SteemIt long-term. So I'm asking you to power up your earnings (convert your liquid Steem and SBD into Steem Power) and not withdraw them.
I'll drop by your account once or twice a week to see how you're doing.
It would be a good idea to create a free Discord account (Discord is a chat app we Steemians use to communicate 'behind-the-scenes' of the platform. Many different communities have a server where you can chat and meet people without being limited by Resource Credits.)
You can create your Discord account here: https://discordapp.com
One of the communities there is called Steem Terminal. Steem Terminal is set up to help newcomers find their way around here. If you have any questions, they will be able to help you out too.
Once you've created your free Discord account, click the following invitation link: https://discord.gg/XZGPGpz
You will be redirected to a page that says 'thekittygirl invited you to join Steem-terminal'. Click the 'Accept Invite button' to get access to the server.
Once you have clicked that button, you have access to the server and can get an answer to your questions. The people that run the server will help you to find your way around and to get started.
I also have a post with useful tips for newcomers on my blog. Read New On SteemIt? Here’s What You Need To Know!. It contains links to sites and posts that will give you more information about how the Steem blockchain and SteemIt in particular works.

You can join contests to get a bigger delegation:
@thedarkhorse is running a weekly contest in which he delegates some of his Steen Power to new users. By entering, you can get your Steem Power up to 85SP, which will give you even more freedom to explore the platform. Enter Here. Only 1 day left to join
@akomoajong is hosting one too. Read it here
Like I said, SteemIt might have a steep learning curve in the beginning, it is definitely worth it to push through and get to know the amazing community.
Remember: if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
