IBT Survival Island - PC Game for Steem SMT - Discord Channel Now Ready

Sorry about the lack of updates - just a quick post to let people know we haven't disappeared; here's whats happening with IBT Survival Island development today.

For those who have a passion for games and just coming across this for the first time IBT Survival Island is a brand new first of its kind high performance education game that aspires to utilize the features of the soon to be released Steem SMT token system.

We won't be looking to use SMT as a typical IPO/ICO - the core game is aimed to be free for download from the STEAM gaming platform, but we will be using the token system as part of building the community and granting boons and rewards to players. The game is now well into it's development phase, we continue working on the menu's, surprisingly this has been a bit challenging - who would have thought just doing simple things like saving and loading could present such bugs and challenges. 

Anyways we will get there.

As per the creation of this account @ibt-survival we are now actively encouraging further community engagement and I could really use some help. For instance we are keen for some assistance with some early game testing... We will start small, release with caution and grow slowly in this space, so thanks for being patient - we will get the game into peoples hands as quickly as we can, but to start we will be releasing a few test iterations to just a select handful of kind and willing Steemians - Stay tuned and get those graphic cards warmed up :)

To get started we have now setup a discord channel (something we haven't done before, so its still a bit of a work in progress - be kind :)).

All are welcome, but I'd love to see some original Steemit IBT people jump in and drop us a line; we will soon be running some more sweet prize competitions and for those who have showed early interest and continued support there will be many shared benefits (Remember IBT Survival Island will make use of Steem SMT's - Just like the IBT competition of old, there is steem and tokens for all those who join in early and help). I'll be organising joiners into membership groups, including some very early takers who put their hands up for a few cheeky reserved tokens - now is your chance to jump in and lay claim to those future sweet tokens
