Macro Photography (DSLR) - The Love of Nature
Hello everyone,
During the last couple of days when I was on a trip, I had the chance to do a couple of macro photographs on a field and around not far from my home.
The images were all captured with my Nikon D750 DSLR + 105mm Nikkor Macro Lens. They were slightly edited. These photos were captured with the same setup and lens I bought not a long time ago (I also made a post here, "I got a new lens, and I love it" about three months ago with more macro images and some more details about the lens)
The first two images were actually not captured in the field but there were a couple of flowers in a vase on a bench. The flowers looked very alive therefore I decided to take a couple of photographs. These two first images are the best from a series of attempts to capture these flowers in a place not so great illuminated. I also slightly edited them in Lightroom.
Now there are three more macro images I managed to capture, these are all in the field. The point is that I captured a lot more images but I avoid adding anything where there's motion blur at magnification over 100% in lightroom
What I love about the above image is the tiny ant present on the right side of the image on the flower. If the image is magnified over 100% in lightroom, the ant is crystal clear with no blur at all. I could've crop a bit more in order to highlight the importance of the ant, but I like how both flowers fit into the image.
The above photograph was also cropped for a better view of the butterfly. This is also clear and does not present any motion blurs.
The above image is not much of a macro as it is captured of a small branch/tree which appears to be dry/dead in a background that has the significance of alive nature.
Once more, to mention, all the above images were captured by me a couple of days ago and I've decided to share them with you. In the meantime, as with all my photographs, I will upload them on my Unsplash Profile for you and other people to use for free in any of your projects.
Thank you for all your support! I hope to see you around and stay safe
