10,000 Steps on a busy grey spring day!

5 HBI to the first person who tells me the last time I fired up @actifit and logged over 10k steps!

It has been quite a while. I used to use the app quite often as it was great way to get active, snap some pics and tell a story about an active day. I stopped a bit because I noticed there was little support for those posts even if I put in my regular effort to include pictures and content like I would normal posts.

Checking in today as I racked up big steps yesterday and I wanted to check out the developments in application and curation response.

It was a relatively dreary one but, as you can see in the first pic, I had plenty of work to do. Along with our regular small business marketing work at https://www.towncriermarketing.ca we also help promote and distribute a local newspaper.

Crawling to 100 drop off spots, you can imagine some of the silly things I see. This is one of them that fascinates me about this small town. People parking in the lawn!

Speaking of vehicles on grass, during my 10k steps, I saw this performance where a driver was absolutely mangling the curb, as well as his truck probably, to make his delivery. Good help must be hard to find.

Besides all of that, I am happy to have spent a few hundred steps in the dog park. Clear enough not to be walking in the rain and the little dood had the time of his life again. This time it was this poodly thing he had fun chasing around and wrestling. Dogwars steps are a must.

Other than that, there were a few steps to the fridge to secure myself one of these babies. Like the icing on the cake and the steps that brought me over the 10k magical mark.

Here’s hoping people put more effort into their @actifit posts, it becomes the activity and reward catalyst it should be, and that you had a fun and active day too.
