I did the “Impossible-Mile”-Challenge

  • 50 Shuttle Runs
  • 50 Dumbbell Box Step-Ups (17,5 kg)
  • 40 Shuttle Runs
  • 40 Dumbbell Box Step-Ups (17,5 kg)
  • 30 Shuttle Runs
  • 30 Dumbbell Box Step-Ups (17,5 kg)
  • 20 Shuttle Runs
  • 20 Dumbbell Box Step-Ups (17,5 kg)
  • 10 Shuttle Runs
  • 10 Dumbbell Box Step-Ups (17,5 kg)

Mal sehen, was als nächstes kommt.

Danke für's Lesen, Kommentieren oder Upvoten. Ich wünsche euch einen schönen Abend.

Hello dear Hivians and fitness fans!

I've been going to Crossfit every Sunday morning since the beginning of the year. The class starts at 9am and I usually go to get bread rolls afterwards and then we have breakfast a little later on Sundays.

This morning we had a nice workout that was really fun:

  • 50 shuttle runs
  • 50 dumbbell box step-ups (17.5 kg)
  • 40 shuttle runs
  • 40 dumbbell box step-ups (17.5 kg)
  • 30 shuttle runs
  • 30 dumbbell box step-ups (17.5 kg)
  • 20 shuttle runs
  • 20 dumbbell box step-ups (17.5 kg)
  • 10 shuttle runs
  • 10 dumbbell box step-ups (17.5 kg)

1 shuttle run consists of 2 lanes of 10m each.

Two crossfitters then came up with the idea that we could also do the “Impossible Mile” challenge. And stupid as I am, I thought it was a good idea and signed up.

At 3pm in the afternoon, we met up again for the challenge, which consisted of

  • 400m Burpee Broad Jumps
  • 400m Lunges
  • 400m Bear Crawl
  • 400m running

The first 400m took us almost exactly half an hour. I did ten in a row at the beginning. Towards the end it was usually 3 - 5.
The second 400m (lunges) took about 20 minutes. I did as many lunges as I could for the first 100m. After the first 100m, I always did 15 lunges. A short break and then on again.
I had completely underestimated the next 400m. I also needed 30 minutes for the Bear Crawl. But the last 100m were just horrible. My shoulder injury also made itself felt again.
The last 400m were then an easy run. Unfortunately, I kept getting calf cramps in between and so the run took just under 3 minutes.

Nevertheless, I am happy to have completed the challenge. Let's see what comes next.

Thanks for reading, commenting or upvoting. Have a great evening.
