My Actifit Report Card: November 13 2024

Now you might know I've been in on vacation. Today is the last day but the flight doesn't leave until late and hotel checkout was 12pm.

But if you ask nicely they give you an extra hour and if you also ask nicely they will hold your bags until the end of day.

So we got our bags ready, dropped them off and went to the Venice mall.

Now it really is a pretty mall with a Venice theme.

However do you see crowds of people here? Right is nearly empty because it is expensive. For normal folks? Not really. So if I wanted to treat my family to a nice dinner... sure. For everyday shopping? I think not.

Anyways wandering around there have be a bunch of steps. Then we headed to Market market for much more reasonably priced items. However shopping really bored me so my wife sent me back to the hotel to kill time playing on my pc in the lobby.

Meet a couple of awesome people there and chatted for a bit but then it was time to head out to the airport.

We arrived 6hrs before the flight but we really had nowhere else to be.

But we have a credit card with a nice perk. Free lounge access. Now lots of people don't even use the perk because they don't read the fine print.

But instead of fitting for hard airport chairs we get these.

Instead of paying $5 for a softdrink we get this...

Unlimited soft drinks, beer, water, ice cream and more.

Instead of expensive food...

Teriyaki chicken... not bad.

Tofu sisig...meh.

Chicken penne... pretty good

Egg sandwich.. pretty good.

Little deserts... quite tasty.

And yes. There was more I didn't try.

At in exclusive washrooms with shower services. Exclusive high speed wifi.

It is such a nice free perk

.... and make spending time at the airport much much nicer. Now this lounge didn't have sleeping pods like some other do...

But compared to a hard airport bench?

So much nicer.

And with a 16hr flight coming up no guarantees I'll be posting tomorrow. But thanks for dropping by today.
