Enjoying Rest Area Driving (My Actifit Report Card: April 1 2025)

Driving a car is my passion but not just driving. I have been doing a great job for almost 8 years with this driving job.

For many people in my area, the job of a driver like me is unfortunately underestimated. That doesn't matter to me, the most important thing is that I enjoy this job without disturbing other people and from that driving job I am able to support my family.

On Eid al-Fitr is a busy moment where many people use the services of a driver. Like this time I also did it happily taking my passengers to different destinations to visit their families.

The road terrain that I had to take this time was quite difficult because it was in a hilly area. So I have to stay focused.

When I'm tired I have to stop at a certain area. This time I chose an area that is suitable for a stopover when bringing my family because the view is good.

You can see here the rest area which feels cool with lots of gazebos for visitors who stop in that area. There are also some snack and drink sellers here.

The most important thing is that there is a park in this rest area. In the park section there is something very interesting. There is a monument to one of the heroes who served Indonesia.

Monument to Commander-in-Chief General Soerdiman of the Indonesian Republic Army. With his famous quote that the Indonesian Republic Army will rise and fall together with the Indonesian nation.

I felt proud reading the quote on the monument. A sense of nationalism that was burning.

Then I stretched my body, especially my waist, while looking at the hilly area. The hills that looked beautiful green.

But unfortunately in another area I saw a hill whose natural materials were taken to be used as building materials. It is very unfortunate how nature has to be damaged like this and I can only pray that nature will not be angry with humans.

Then I continued my journey to the hilly area. Enthusiasm for the sake of a living for the family.
