Looks like someone needs to go on a diet Lol! 🤣
Yesterday the Mrs and Silvertop hiked past this wooden bench, and it was completely intact………..
It is Springtime my friends, and the local Bear population is starting to wake up from a long Winter of hibernation!🐻
Most likely a heavyweight Black Bear, was taking a much needed break on one of Keith’s hand crafted wooden benches!☺️
A large pond is within a few hundred yards of this bench……a very popular watering hole for the residents of the Forest!😊
Today I was headed up to Keith and Lynne’s house to check on things, our neighbors are enjoying a Sunny vacation in Mexico!😎
Lynne is retired from the Park Service, and she still has connections with the local nursery’s…………..
As you can see in the third photo, Lynne has already picked up an early pre- order shipment of Shore Pines!😊
These are the same Pines Silvertop is picking up this coming Saturday!🤗
On my hike up to their home, I followed a side trail that is heavily traveled by many of the animals of the Forest………
Keith has strapped a “Game Camera” on one of the trees.
Silvertop slowly slid his iPhone in front of the Game Camera, and snapped a photo!
The Game camera activated……………
When Keith returns home, and replays the video, he will view one of the most elusive creatures that walk through this Forest Lol!😇🤣
Everything was quiet and secure up at their home………
I pulled my rain jackets hood over my ball cap, the rain had started……..😅
It was time to head back home………..
I struck a match to the kindling in the wood stove, and the flames swirled up the chimney………..
Today was a good hike, but it was good to be back home, enjoying the warmth of a nice fire!🤗
